Course Description: This course is designed to be completed in 2 junior high school years. Upon completion of both years, the student will have a full HS credit for Spanish 1. This course will transport students beyond the classroom on an exciting journey through the diverse Spanish-speaking world. The perfect blend of culture, instruction, and interaction enables and motivates students to succeed. This class focuses on the four key areas of foreign language study: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Students will become familiar with common vocabulary terms and phrases and will learn grammar patterns. They will also participate in simple conversations and respond appropriately to basic conversational prompts.
