Course Description: America the Beautiful from Notgrass Publishing is a one-year American history course which includes geography, literature, and writing. Lessons guide the student through American history chronologically, highlighting key events, people, and places. This curriculum also contains activities and lessons which include Biblical thinking, map work, vocabulary, creative writing, and lesson review questions. Students should be expected to work on assignments at home at least 6 hours each week.

The course is divided into weekly units; each unit typically includes one lesson in each of the following categories: Our American Story, God’s wonders, An American Landmark, An American Biography, Daily Life.
