Today in class, we read the story that was assigned for homework and went over the translation. We also learned how to use number one when it is part of 21, 31, etc., and is being used with a masculine and feminine nouns. Finally, we learned how to tell time in Spanish.

- Compositions – write about your favorite place to go on family vacation. Include the following: Which is your favorite place to go on vacation, why, who do you go with, how do you get there, when do you go, what activities do you do, etc. Please type your composition double spaced. Write in the present tense. Use correct spelling and sentence structure.
- Review numbers 1-50.
- Complete clocks worksheet.

- Written project – Mi clase favorita. Which is your favorite class, why is it your favorite class, when does your class take place, where does it take place, etc. Use correct spelling and sentence structure. Type your composition double spaced. Needs to be at least 7 sentences.
- Review all verbs learned to date for TEST next week, turning sentences into questions and into negative statements and interrogative statements. Study the use of articles as well.
- Complete exercises in the workbook pages 42, Section II and 43, Section III.

Today in class we continued to review present tense conjugation of regular verbs for endings in AR, ER, IR. We completed exercises in the workbook, and we reviewed for our quiz next week. The quiz will be over conjugating present tense regular verbs, turning a statement into a negative statement, a question and a negative question.

- Study for Quiz on verb conjugations.

Today in class we reviewed the alphabet, numbers and rules learned in previous classes. We reviewed the conjugations for present tense regular AR verbs, read a story in class and translated it, and learned how to conjugate present tense regular verbs ending in ER and IR. Please review all these verb conjugations as there will be a quiz in a couple of weeks.

Today in class we reviewed the alphabet, numbers and rules learned in previous classes. We read the story that the boys had for homework and completed comprehension exercises in class. Today I introduced conjugating present tense regular AR verbs.

Today in class we reviewed answering questions with que es, numbers and the alphabet and we went over the grammar rules we learned last week dealing with articles. We read a story in class, and learned how to turn sentences from singular to plural and the rules needed to make words plural according to their endings.

Today in class, the boys took their first quiz. I will have it graded and handed back next week. We learned new vocabulary words dealing with items in a supermarket, as well as verbs that show actions and adjectives. The boys need to have all these new vocabulary words on flashcards and study them daily so they can master their vocabulary words. We practiced answering questions asking where “Donde” and how “Como?.
I highly recommend that the boys spread their homework over the week so they have a chance to practice their Spanish daily.

- Write on flash cards alimentos pg. xxiii, descriptive adjectives on page xxvi and actions on page xxv and practice daily.
