*NOTE: There is a minimum of 5 students required for this class to progress; maximum is 18.
Course Description: This class will be an interactive class experience, with students completing homework assignments and then practicing new skills in class with coaching from the instructor. Students will work alone and in groups, increasing their speaking and critiquing skills. The fall semester will be spent doing Literary Interpretation, ending with a Parent Presentation in January. The spring semester will focus on Lincoln Douglass Debate, Biographical Speeches, and Impromptu speeches.Students should be expected to work on assignments at home at least 1-2 hrs each week.
