Course Description: Using Saxon Math 3 – Saxon Math 3 Student Workbook Set with Fact Cards, 1st Edition and Saxon Math 3: An Incremental Development, Home Study Meeting Book Math 3 will take the students from basic place value, arithmetic, money, time, and fractions and will include geometry, measurement and and graphs. Students will have a strong focus on knowing their basic math facts, calendar skills, and patterns.

Although class time with the teacher will consist of learning new concepts, practicing and applying learned math concepts, this class requires parental support. Parents will be responsible for giving students daily fact sheets and checking their work. The parents will also be responsible for daily activity work. Students should be expected to work on assignments at home at least 4 days each week.
