Course Description: The Elementary Math Masters Class is a fun, welcoming space where young learners can explore the exciting world of numbers, patterns, and problem-solving. Through games, puzzles, hands-on activities, and friendly challenges, students build confidence in their math skills while discovering creative ways to think critically and work as a team. Our class is open to all skill levels grades 3-5 whether you love math already or are just starting to enjoy it. Each meeting blends learning with play, encouraging curiosity, collaboration, and a growth mindset. From exploring shapes and logic to tackling real-world math mysteries, Elementary Math Masters makes math an adventure for everyone!
Although class time with the teacher will consist mostly of many games to encourage learning in fun ways, some concepts will require traditional methods to ensure growth in the quest to “master” a particular skill. Routine practice at home on certain skills will be necessary. With that in mind, the teacher is excited to partner with parents to oversee some activities which will be sent home for fun practice. This will help your student be successful during our games and challenges during class.
Incentive programs will be discussed throughout the year to encourage and motivate students to participate in all activities. Our goal is for your student to LOVE math and be successful!
