BJU’s World Studies text provides a chronological narrative of world history that should reveal the hand of God at work in the nations, beginning with the birth of the Church, the rise of Islam, and a survey of nations around the world from 1000 A.D. to the present.  Among other topics, we will study why humans build cities and trace how cities have changed through the course of history. We will also trace the growth of Christianity and its impact on the cultures of the world. Homework will include reading, map work, questions, and projects. Students should expect to work on assignments at least four days each week.
