Course Description: The purpose of Math Games is to give students more practice of math skills while having fun playing games!  The format of this class will be very relaxed with an ability of each student to move at his/her own pace.  Each week students will be given problems covering the concept of the month, then we will review as a class. Students then have the opportunity to practice the concepts with manipulatives and games.  Students will be invited to bring their favorite board games to play at specific times of the year and share with class as well!  In addition to making learning fun, it is my goal that students practice manners, respect, and cooperation while playing games with other students.  Homework will be optional with suggestive supplemental handouts to foster the skill learned in class.
